The paedophile ex-mayor of Weston-super-Mare has been blamed for an adventure park banning lone adults, despite his offences having no link to the said attraction.
Puxton Park’s ban came to light after a man was refused entrance to falconry display because he was unaccompanied by children.
Former Mayor, Phillip Judd, was jailed two months ago for possessing indecent images of children.
The Park managing director Alistair Mead mentioned Judd in defence of their lone adult policy: ‘The society in which we live has sadly forced us to implement necessary and stringent child protection policies.
‘Mr Judd had visited Puxton Park to undertake a civic duty and his sinister secrets were only recently exposed and he was jailed for his crimes.
‘If you cannot trust civic authority figures then, simply, who can you trust?’
It would be of interest to know if the Park managing director Alistair Mead is an alumni of Common Purpose and any one else in the Parks system?
