A convicted paedophile faces a trial charged with six breaches of a sexual offences prevention order.
Julian Farrell, 52, pleaded not guilty to breaking conditions of the order made by Bradford CrownCourt in 2007, when he was jailed for five and a half years for possessing indecent images of children and five counts of inciting sexual activity with a child.
At the court yesterday he denied breaching the order by using the internet for purposes other than work, operating a private internet account, possessing a photo or pseudo-image of a child without their parents’ permission and downloading or viewing an image of a child.
He also denied breaking the order’s conditions by possessing computer software or storage media showing images of young children and accessing an internet site relating to children under 16.
Farrell, of Abcot Street, Barkerend, Bradford, was released on bail until his trial in January.
