A Bournemouth schoolteacher is due to be sentenced this morning on child and animal porn offences.
Simon Clannachan, 40, of Richmond Park Avenue, pleaded guilty to 21 counts relating to making indecent images of children and possession of extreme animal pornography when he appeared before Bournemouth Crown Court earlier this month.
The Kingsleigh Primary School teacher was suspended when the offences came to light and handed in his resignation on June 13.

A primary school teacher has appeared in court charged with making indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornographic images.
Simon Clannachan faces 14 counts of making indecent images of children and seven of possessing pornographic images portraying a sexual act with an animal.
Mr Clannachan, 40, has been suspended from his teaching post at Kingsleigh Primary School in Bournemouth.
None of the offences are believed to involve pupils attending the school.
Richard Gower, head teacher at Kingsleigh Primary School, has written to parents informing them that a member of school staff has been charged in relation to indecent images of children.
He added: “I have not been made aware of any evidence to suggest that this involved children at our school nor of any evidence of direct offences against children.”
Mr Gower has offered to talk to parents personally to offer reassurance.
Bournemouth magistrates released Mr Clannachan, of Richmond Park Avenue, Bournemouth, on bail.
He is due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on 1 July.
